As a step forward towards e-Customs Federal Administration of Public Incomes has made some changes in the regulation for filing Sea Cargo Manifest for all cargo arriving on the vessel calling Argentina. These changes have become effective 01st January 2019.

As per the key highlights of the revised regulation, it is compulsory for the shipping line, and importer to adhere to the defined timelines for manifest filing of all cargo arriving on a vessel calling Argentinean port.

Arrival Manifest: Import Manifest is required to be submitted to customs after vessel departs from each port the vessel coming to Argentina calls. To adhere to these timelines, we will need your support in submitting the shipping instruction with the following mandatory information:

• Complete Consignee Field:
• Full Name
• Address including zip code,
• CUIT (Tax ID#). For FFWW it should appear the CUIT# that FFWW wants to have manifested
• HS Code (6 digits)should be on B/L body
• Gross weight
• B/Ls TO ORDER, must inform CUIT# on Notify field
